The UVEX Exxential II MIPS is a lightweight riding helmet with an in-mould shell and the added safety feature of the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS). This low-friction moveable layer sits between the foam padding and hard exterior, allowing for multi-directional movement of 10 to 15mm in all directions on impact. In the case of an angled impact the force is diverted away from the head by the MIPS.
This helmet has a deep-cut design and a pony-tail cut-out, making it more comfortable for riders with long hair.
