The Neue Schule Turtle Tactio with Flex Baucher has been designed to sit further back in the mouth to reduce pressure at the sensitive outer edges of the tongue. The cannon has a slightly concave underside which provides comfort without the need for extra bulk – this helps horses with a large tongue, or who try to evade the bit with their tongue, by promoting comfort and true contact. The Baucher cheekpiece encourages the horse to lift from the shoulder and reinforces directional control.
