Start with your riding hat. Even if it hasn't had a fall, helmet safety standards evolve and materials naturally age over time. If your hat is getting older, no longer fits perfectly or has taken any impact, it's worth replacing.
A comfortable pair of technical riding socks and new gloves will also make every ride noticeably more enjoyable—small upgrades that make a surprisingly big difference.
